Emma Steenson

Chartered Physiotherapist HPC CSP OCPPP

Emma is a chartered physiotherapist with 13 years clinical experience mainly in musculoskeletal and sporting injuries. Having qualified from the University of Ulster, Belfast Emma has worked mainly in private practice within the UK, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia. She is extremely passionate about physiotherapy and has spent her career developing her skills through continued professional development and post graduate training.

She adopts a distinctive 'hands on approach' using a combination of manual therapy, massage, myofascial release and acupunture in her treatments. She is very passionate about exercise and truly believes in the importance of empowering and educating her patients about their injuries. She teaches physio led Pilates classes in the West End which is highly beneficial for alleviating back and neck pain, improving posture and strengthening core stability. Emma has a particular interest in treating ante and post natal mothers presenting with musculoskeletal injuries.
